Terms of Service
These terms explain how EduGPT may be used by families, learners, educators, and schools. EduGPT is a product of PromptSoft LLC.
1. Agreement
By creating an account, using EduGPT, or allowing a learner to use EduGPT, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use EduGPT on behalf of a school, organization, or family, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use EduGPT.
2. Who may use EduGPT
EduGPT is designed for adult-managed educational use. Parents, guardians, educators, and authorized school representatives may create accounts, add learner profiles, assign lessons, and review progress.
Learners under 13 may not create or manage their own independent account unless their access is set up and authorized by a parent, legal guardian, or school acting with appropriate authority. Schools are responsible for obtaining any consent required for their students.
3. The EduGPT service
EduGPT provides learning plans, lessons, practice tools, tutoring chat, progress reports, course creation tools, and related educational features. Some features use artificial intelligence to generate or adapt explanations, practice, images, transcripts, summaries, lesson materials, or tutoring responses.
EduGPT may help align learning with grade level, standards, district requirements, state requirements, country requirements, learner preferences, or parent and teacher goals. Those alignments are instructional aids, not official certifications or guarantees of academic mastery, promotion, credit, or compliance with any school requirement.
AI-generated content can be useful, but it can also be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for a specific learner. Adults should review important learning decisions, sensitive topics, and any material used in formal instruction.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. Please use accurate account information and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse EduGPT. This includes attempting to disrupt the service, bypass security controls, access accounts or data without permission, upload unlawful or harmful content, impersonate another person, violate intellectual property rights, or use EduGPT to create unsafe, discriminatory, exploitative, or abusive material.
Students should use EduGPT as a learning companion. It should not be used to cheat, submit work dishonestly, or avoid school academic integrity requirements.
6. Your content
You may upload, paste, create, or submit content such as learner profile details, prompts, course materials, assignments, notes, answers, transcripts, and other learning materials. You keep ownership of content you own.
You give PromptSoft LLC a limited permission to host, process, display, adapt, and use your content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve EduGPT for your account and authorized users. You are responsible for having rights to any content you upload or import.
7. EduGPT content and intellectual property
EduGPT, including its software, interface, templates, brand, designs, and platform content, is owned by PromptSoft LLC or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of EduGPT or its underlying technology to you.
8. Subscriptions, credits, and billing
Paid plans, usage credits, token refills, and billing features are presented at checkout or inside the app when available. Prices, included usage, renewal terms, taxes, cancellation rules, and any refund terms will be shown where you subscribe or purchase credits.
Usage credits may be consumed by AI generation, tutoring, course creation, transcript processing, image generation, or similar features. We may place reasonable limits on usage to protect service quality, safety, or cost controls.
9. Third-party services
EduGPT may rely on third-party services for payments, email delivery, hosting, analytics if enabled, AI models, transcription, content extraction, or other infrastructure. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
10. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account violates these terms, creates risk for learners or the platform, infringes rights, or is used unlawfully. You may stop using EduGPT at any time.
11. Disclaimers
EduGPT is provided for educational support and experimentation. It is not a substitute for professional educational, psychological, medical, legal, or safety advice. To the extent permitted by law, EduGPT is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, PromptSoft LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or interruption of learning or business. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
13. Changes
We may update these terms as EduGPT evolves. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the app, website, or email. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
